CHICAGO, U.S.: By providing true upgradeability with outstanding performance, ACTEON aims to remain at the forefront of innovation. With its 3-D technology that facilitates osseointegration through instant volume measurement and bone density assessment, the company is presenting its X-MIND TRIUM panoramic dental unit in Chicago from Feb. 22 to 24.

Since its official launch at the 2015 International Dental Show in Germany, X-MIND TRIUM has undergone major updates and become a vital therapeutic tool that adapts to the dentist’s practice while taking up very little room. X-MIND TRIUM helps make treatment safer, faster, less traumatic and therefore less stressful.

X-MIND TRIUM facilitates accurate evaluation of bone density around an implant at a click of the button. Furthermore, its implant planning program has been simplified to allow full reports to be produced in less than a minute. X-MIND TRIUM has a small field of view (40 × 40 mm) and a high image resolution (75 µm), making it the new Mac- and PC-compatible standard in endodontics. It has four field of view sizes, ranging up to 110 × 80 mm, to minimize exposure in the relevant area.

Another key feature of the X-MIND TRIUM is its digital cephalometric radiography function, which combines cephalometric 2-D images with 3-D modeling. With the module’s patented mechanism, the secondary collimator does not need to be on the cephalometric arm. The patient can therefore be positioned more easily, quickly and comfortably. Furthermore, this means the arm can be shorter, giving the X-MIND TRIUM one of the smallest footprints for a cephalometric device.

Editorial note: At the Chicago Midwinter Meeting, visitors can learn more about X-MIND TRIUM at ACTEON’s booth (#3011).
